The Bahrain Club, located in Muharraq, shares facilities with the Muharraq Club, including the Al Muharraq Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 20,000 spectators and was renovated in 2012. Recently, significant efforts have been made to modernize sports and recreational facilities in Muharraq. The Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs has overseen the renovation of the Muharraq Club, upgrading its amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, multi-sports hall, squash courts, cafés, and children’s playgrounds. Additionally, extensive renovation projects for public parks, walkways, and gardens in the Muharraq Governorate have been initiated to enhance recreational spaces and improve the quality of life for residents. These initiatives reflect a strong commitment to modernizing the area while preserving its rich cultural heritage.
